Bed linen should be washed at
least once a week, especially if slept in every
night. Our bed linen is not pre-shrunk and may
seem slightly too big before the first wash. All
our linen is made from 100% cotton percale with
a 200 thread count.
Please take care when washing
as too high a temperature can cause excessive shinkage.
We recommend that all our linen be washed at a temperature
no higher than 40°C. You do not need to boil fine
linen to acheive good results. We reccomend using
a fabric softner in your wash, as it keeps the fibres
soft and smooth and makes ironing easier. Tumble
Drying is not recommended as too high a temperature
will cause shinkage. For best results when ironing,
iron your linen while still slightly damp. Remember
to stretch and re-shape the linen from corner to
corner before allowing to dry properly.
Towels
All our towels are 525g
100% Cotton Machine wash towels at a maximum of
60°C Do not use bleach. Use a small amount of fabric
softner in the wash, this helps to improve absorbency.
Remember to stretch out and re-shape the towels
from corner to corner while still damp. Take care
not to over dry the towels in the tumble dryer as
this makes them hard and brittle.
